I’ve purchased several different 18″ rolls of paper trying to find the best and cheapest solution to line my bird cages. I rehab birds and it’s important to find paper that is clean, with no wax or off-gassing. I just changed out and cleaned all my cages this morning and used this white Kraft paper for the first time. First thing I noticed is that it seems just a tad bit over 18″ wide, which works in my favor because the edges roll up in the cage and keep the seed from landing on the floor. Secondly, it’s just the right weight without being too heavy. When my birds take their baths and soak the paper it doesn’t fall apart and will dry fairly quickly. Being white it makes it easier for my birds with vision problems to see everything on the paper so they know where the food is. I just checked the price of this paper and it has already gone up $3 from what I paid. Not ideal for me so hopefully it goes down so I can continue to buy more. There are definitely alternatives out there like the 250″ rolls of brown craft paper that Grainger sells for around $12.00 but the nearest Grainger is too far from me. I’m hoping I’ve found a reliable source from this Amazon seller. Time will tell.

I purchased this paper roll to staple to cardboard targets for use at the range. While the seller??s description states specifically that it??s not see thru, it is definitely is as shown by the photo. You can see bullet holes and 2?? red and 4?? orange target stickers thru it.
While it is a great size and price for my purposes, if you??re looking for opaque paper, this isn??t for you.
