Top Positive Review
I am really happy with this book. The pages are perforated and there is a little folder in the back. The paper takes marker really well, pen and ink too. Even when I put marker around the pen it??s not bleeding the black ink much at all. I??m happy with this book! Def recommend
Top Critical Review
The sketchbook is large, and sturdy. I only have a few problems. I own 2 different Ohuhu marker sets. One just a typical dual tip fine/ Broad markers. These go on smoothly…but bleed. The other is a dual tip marker pens set (brush/fine), these don’t bleed, but if you accidentally go ove a spot twice it ripps up the paper badly. No problems with fineliners or pencil, but the reason for this sketchbook is no bleed markers right?
Customer Questions & Answers
Does the book open flat?
Answer: Unfortunately, no. But…it is one of the BEST pads I have ever used! (Not sponsored). If you can get past the open flat issue, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the paper quality and texture of the cover.
This product description says 120 lb (200 gsm) but 200 gsm = 74 lb. Which is it?
Answer: Thanks for the question. Please be advised that what we marked is the density of the paper, that is g/m2. And g and lb cannot be converted directly. The conversion of paper density depends on the type of raw material of paper, wet pressing, calendering degree, and sizing degree. Overall, our paper is 200g/m2, 120lb.
Is this good for storyboarding/pen?
Answer: It’s phenomenal. The pages are perforated so when you storyboard you can nearly remove the pages and the paper is made for markers and pen so it’s ideal for that. Hope this helps
Has anyone tried it with watercolors yet?
Answer: I tried it with watercolor and it barely holds itself together. The paper is almost at the point where it starts shred if too much water is applied.
