Can this paper be used for acrylic painting?
Answer: In my opinion…For fun… maybe, but not for serious painter
How many sheets per pack?
Answer: This is one pack of 500 sheets.
Could this handle a wash or two or watercolor?
Answer: Yes! We use this for watercolors for the kids all the time. For nicer projects we use the canson watercolor pad but this is good for everyday use!
Anyone use this for calligraphy practice?
Answer: If you are using calligraphy markers I think it would work fine. If using true ink pens ( with ?? nibs?? ) it may be a little heavy
Is this paper long or short grain?
Answer: I am not sure what you mean. It has a little tooth. It is too light weight for professional use. I used it for practice with my students.
