I absolutely love this paper! I??ve been teaching myself how to do calligraphy with numerous brush pens. Lately I’ve been using the TomBow brush pens and this paper is the perfect practice paper. It??s sheer so it??s easy to practice by tracing first. It??s also very smooth so brush pens don??t get ruined! I recommend!

Top Critical Review

This is a good paper for pencil sketches and pens NOT for markers. I did a pencil sketch and then pigma pens and then tried using copic markers to color it in. It was terrible the ink pooled instead of blended like I’ve never seen these markers do before. Disappointed because while the color was visible on the other side of the paper it doesn’t bleed onto the desk. Not recommended.

Answer: This surface is smooth, you can draw with pencil on this if you’d like; or try our drawing or sketch pads which have more “tooth” or texture for your pencil drawings.

Is it bleed proof? I’m gonna use it for calligraphy and with either higgins eternal ink or sumi ink.

This is one of my favorite papers to use for pointed pen calligraphy. Sumi ink is my go-to black, other colors& brands like Walnut, Iron gal, many inks work lovely with this paper. Plus you can see your guide sheet underneath if you are using it for practice. The paper is very thin, but there is no bleed through. ??

It says 9×12 but in the image it says 11×14, which is it?
